I'm writing a fantasy novel with two main characters. Though I start with the one character's POV, is it "odd" to end the novel from the other character's POV? I do switch POV back and forth (though not a straight out A B A B A B order). Also, my ending scene parallels my first scene in setting and circumstance, but not outcome.

for what's it's worth, I don't think it's odd at all. And I rather like the parallel ending idea.

If it's a good ending, it doesn't matter if it's the POV of a dog.

Maestro, you're not only good for advice, but for a laugh every now and then!

Julie, that sounds fine. I'm doing something similiar, as a matter of fact, although my POV alternation is a little more strict and changes at Part One, Part Two, etc. Anyway, as long as it's working, the POV itself shouldn't be a problem.
