Alright everyone, the goal this week will be a challenge. This scene will grow your skills through sheer difficulty. So let's practice our craft. Please vote for the challenge you find most enticing.
BTW - I did drop a note to DecemberQuinn for permission to use some of her exercises, but I'll wait for her OK before using them.

So this is what I mean:
Write a scene where something unexpected happens. Get us all hot and bothered, then have the cops arrest someone on the front porch. Or have your kids call from school with problems. Or anything else that would be a mood killer. But make it work anyway.
Write a scene without any dialogue. Making a scene hot without using any spoken word is harder than it sounds. It may be as difficult as writing a scene with only dialogue and no description.
Write a scene in reverse. This will be a real challenge. Make a scene really hot telling it in reverse. It should read well, like anything else your write, but the action should take place in backwards order - start with the afterglow and finish with the first kiss.
Write a scene using a different word for genitals everytime they appear. Once you've used cock, you can't use it again. And to be fitting to the challenge, you should refer to genitals a lot.
I thought that last one might help with the questions about good sex words that crop up every month or so.
Well, if we're supposed to pick whichever one is hardest for us, for me it would definitely be "no dialog". I still suck at narrative, though I'm getting a bit better. (It's a problem, since my MCs don't talk during sex, usually ;))

It's looking like folks want to get dirty without saying a word. Are there any other votes out there?

Piece of cake if you've ever had a toddler's crib in the bedroom. (How do people think you got the second baby?)
