It's not new today, Sarah. It's been going on for a while. Ray and someone else were commenting about people buying ostrich and buffalo meat. Actually eating ostrich and buffalo. I said I thought ostriches were weird-looking and I wouldn't eat ostrich. So then I decided to put an ostrich face as my avatar just for fun. Some of my friends get a kick out of it. i voiced some concerns and some frustration (though i feel i was fairly restrained in the latter).

i certainly didn't intend to make melina cry, or miss her daughter's birthday or, for that matter, weigh maestro down with a soul crushing thirst for vengeance.

I don't think there was any poor sportsmanship displayed at all by any contestant.

Disappointment, yes.

Frustration, yes.

Fear that maybe they'd invested and believed in something that others didn't take as seriously, yes.

I think it's a testament to the smoothness of Jenna's machine that this came as such a surprise and disappointment to many. They'd come to expect a certain level of performance just as we'd come to expect a certain level of performance from them.

I, personally, don't think that belief was so unjustified. And I have yet to see any displays of unsportsmanlike behavior from any contestant.

Except for VoteBot, of course.

And guys, don't take me too seriously. I am simply channeling Simon-Ray, and I still don't think Simon-Ray is mean enough (as most people already told me). And by no means Simon-Ray wanted to imply that someone was unsportsman like (so far). However, he was serious when he said sportsmanship was important, and I am glad to say that the contestants (all of you) have displayed incredible talents and compassion for others. I do understand the frurstration and the fear that we are not taking the contest seriously. I just hope that you understand we DO take this very seriously. And sometimes it's just good to chill... ;)

Ah, the largest North American titmouse. For those who care to examine further evidence, the Tufted Titmouse ranges pretty much the eastern half of the US, with a western border of central Texas. However, the Black-Crested variety seems to live exclusively in central Texas, where hybrids seem to flourish, as well.

Now, I may be wrong, but Haskins' Web site suggests that he might live in Texas. Maybe some of you know for sure; I haven't been around here long enough to know, and his CP sure ain't sayin'. But perhaps VOTE_BOT's bird selection points toward Will.

Furthermore, the Tufted Titmouse does not live in Canada.
