Hi Everyone,

Where are you all? There's cobwebs in here.

Anyhow, I don't know if you saw this but there is a call for submissions from a tabletop greeting card company (tabletop?)

Check out Freelance Job Openings: (you have to apply online)

Reece

Description of project:
We are looking for freelance writings capable of writing highly original and creative submissions on friendship, family, special occasions, positive living, and other topics one person might want to share with another person. Submissions may also be considered for inclusion in printed book anthologies. We pay up to $300 per poem for all rights to publish it on a greeting card and $50 if your poem is used only in an anthology. Please note that this is a call for submissions rather than a traditional position.

Thanks, Reece! They made a change in this forum, and this front section is new, and is not private. Above this are the 4 'private' sections, the ones we always had (if I understand it correctly).

Do you see the 4 sections above?

Sounds an awful lot like Blue Mountain Arts, no?

You're right! I just re-read it again and it does sound an awfully lot like the folks at Blue Mountain cards.

I didn't apply so I can't comment.

Hey everyone,

This Call for Subs link was brought to my attention by another AW member, therefore I took the liberty of notifying my editor at BMA (as the ad is indeed quite similar to that of BMA). I emailed her the link and she replied that this ad was not posted by BMA. I just wanted to clarify this for all of you.

Deb :)

Hi Everyone,

I applied yesterday and got a response from an agency who said:

Thank you for your response to our ad. We were very impressed by your
application, but unfortunately your application were not successful. We
thank you again and wish you luck.

And then proceeded to plug their new freelance work site. Sounds like a way to get freelancers to contact them.

Hmmmmm??
