I have been trying to rewrite my first draft of my "long term" WIP but I have been stuck on chapter 2 for a couple of months now. A couple of days ago I decided to put aside the other project I was working on and try to wrestle with the chapter two.

I thought it was winning but today I finally won. I completed chapter two. The rest of the book is written. Now, I just need to finish the rewrite making a few little changes and making sure I stay in one POV at a time.:hooray::partyguy:

I just feel like a hugh weight as been lifted. Maybe now I can sleep at night without chapter two haunting me.

Good for you Maine2! :hooray:

It's amazing the way one chapter can seem to take forever, isn't it? Enjoy your rest tonight!

W2G!! :hooray: Sometimes, putting away the writing/chapter for a while is all it needs for you to figure out how to write it. Enjoy your rest!

whoohoo! what a relief, right?

(I always thought 2nd drafts would be easier than the first...)

Congrats! It must feel like a weight off your shoulders now...

That feeling is well worth the hard work in the end...isn't it?

Congrats! My final chapter was not a hard one, but it took me ages to write it and I kept putting it off. I'd done so much work and then I just couldn't get motivated to finish it off. I think maybe I was scared that I'd be lost once I was done. Glad someone else made it over that last mountain!

Thank you all. Chapter three hasn't been so bad I think I'm a little more then half way through it. I should be able to start my chapter four re-write today. Thank you for cheering with me.

Omedetou! Isn't that a great feeling?

...

Now I'm jealous. And here I was, convincing myself I was absolutely-without-a-doubt-NOT going to feel jealous. I need to write something...

...

Er... congrats! Keep up the great work!

Congratulations!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who hits blocks like that. It's amazing how much of a difference overcoming one little obstacle makes, isn't it?
Here's to clear roads ahead. :partyguy:
