Does anybody know of any good fantasy anthologies? That or short story publications other than Fantasy and Science Fiction and Realms of Fantasy. Though I like those two, I would like to see what else is out there before I send off my stories.

Thanks!

try ralan.com and storypilot.com for a few ideas. In Britain interzone and 3rd alternative are top.

Second the notion of www.ralan.com (http://www.ralan.com).

There are many out there. Are you looking specifically for an anthology, rather than a market?

Anaparenna, I'm just 'looking'. A friend of mine said I should look into them as they are a nice touch to add to my writing-resume.

Very much so. However, anthologies (even some of those posted on Ralana's) can be dubious prospects. I would advise you read the fine print, of course. :) Having it on your resume is meaningless if the publication is not well regarded. I've yet to fall into that quagmire (yet to be published in an anthology, yet to submit to one), but I know folks who have, and were tied up when the editorial vision for the book did not match its resources. I'm a bigger believer in legit online and paper publications.
