This isn't really poetry discussion, but it involves tangentially, a poet.

I was in Paizano's, this pizza chain-ish place, and I saw on the menu a pizza called, no shitting, "the bo diddley", immediately my mind flew to ireland, where I saw Godfather noshing on this blues singer monikered pizza pie. The ingredients were like, chicken, celery, goat cheese and barbeque sauce, completely bastardized.

It was pretty cool, b'c if I had never met GF, I never would've cared a whit about a bo diddley pizza.

What I'm saying is, you people of the poetry forum, you're all around me, you've sent your personalities and preferences through poem and conversation, and my life is richer and more disgusting pizza-ey for it.

When next I see a man with a hat, I'll think of Rob. When next I see a person rowing I'll think of Dichroic. When I see a tall, skinny Canadian, I'll be like, "sup KTC?" When next I see a dark grizzled man in a wizard's cape I'll think of William Haskins (I don't know why, but this is how I imagine Mr. Haskins to look like.

I'd mention the other regulars, but I don't know what you look like, you can e-mail me pictures, if you'd like, partial nudes are good, total nudity is of course preferred.

I love this. And yes, you people come to me on all sorts of randomness.

They say you can't get to know people on the internet, to which I always say, "You can't get to know people anywhere if they don't want you to. So, it all depends on who we're talking about and where you'll find them."

I find you all in the strangest places also. (and then I write poems about you). :)

Feiss, you are a living Erté lamp, a flapper wearing a sleeveless gown with a nineteen-foot train, all made of draped gossamer brass. You have a bejewelled skull cap covering your pate and ears, framing your opalescent face in an ebony heart shape. Your upward-stretched left arm balances a giant frosted globe; your right arm trails off, your hand pointing to something or nothing. The flickering glow within casts the shadow of a single on the far wall, its letters in the stylised Paris Métropolitain fashion:

Yeux
