Well I'm been trying to debate on sending this piece to a magazine called Artella it's a online magazine about writing in why you love writing but I don't know if this piece is good enough it may be some grammar errors on here but I will come back later to fix my errors but I want to know if its good enough before I even try to fix the errors? Can you please help me?

Writing has always been a huge part of me, one way or another. Writing is like searching for a whole new meaning of life because you’re bringing Characters alive from you imagination. When I was a child, I use to dream about being in a novel or writing my own novel because this is who I am. I am a writer it takes courage, motivation, and dedication to be a writer.

It takes courage to stand up in front of an audience to discuss your writing in front of the world. It takes motivation to understand the craft of writing, and it takes dedication to be a writer, to me being a writer isn’t about the fame and fortune it’s about the soul of the craft.

It doesn’t take a genius to be a writer, but it takes a person to be a writer. Writers write because we love making up different worlds from our imagination exploring the creative side of writing not only you get to write about your story you get to share your work with the world. Sharing your work with the world is a good thing because people can explore the different side of writing. Have you ever had a dream where you realize that at that exact moment writing is what you want to do for the rest of your life? Dreaming and writing is to different things but when you dream about it you write about it.

Sometimes writing has it ups and downs but growing from them makes them worth wild. I remember a time where I felt like giving up on my writing because it was the right thing to do because I couldn’t master the skills of writing. I though people wouldn’t accept my writing because I couldn’t master the skills of writing but that makes me want to write even more because I love writing. I hear many people today say writers are losing our touch because we don’t have the burning fire like we use to in order to tell a story. "What is a good story I might ask?" A good story is where the writer tells a story from heartache, lost, hope, and desire to be somebody.

Every writer tells their story from there own unique experience because we believe that other people have shared the same experience we have. Exploring another side of writing is about bringing out the creative side of writing. Searching for something to say is meanness when you think your words aren’t important but having something to say is about being a writer.

What makes a writer special is there own unique style the fresh flavor the writer brings to his or her own story, But developing a story is another thing, developing a character is like singing a song that you love. People developed characters from their family members and friends they grew up with, you can take any character in make it stand out because you’re created a new life for your story so make your character stand out, make your character stand out from the rest by giving them a name, an identity, and a life of their own.

"What is a character I might ask?" The qualities distinctive to an individual, the distinctive nature of something. A person in a novel, play or film. A part played by an actor or actress. A print or written letter or symbol strength and originality in a person nature. A person good reputation or informal eccentric of amusing person, so remember when you write a novel or play this is what you ask yourself.

Chelle, I see where you have posted this for feedback (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13064) in SYW, too. Rather than have peeps jumping back and forth to see what has already been said, I am posting a link to your request for critique and closing this thread.

Best of luck with this.
