Ekphrasis Poetry

I believe we've tried our hand at this type of poetry a few times here at AW but I wanted to see if we might get some interest stirred up, again.

I have included a link for review and possibly some response as to a painting that we might respond to with our own poetic expression.

so there's a name to what we do here thanks to Ganesha and others.
the gist I get from the description is that the amount of graphic detail is what differentiates this from standard poetry. at least in the Homer example.
