On Breakfast TV this morning they advised that there is a free virus scanner from AVG Virus Scanner and it only takes a few minutes to download. Updates are available daily and you can scan your computer once a day.

It is completely free, with no catches, so if you computer is unprotected, it might be worth downloading AVG Virus Scanner.

yup. been using it for a couple of years on several machines...

AVG is brilliant and takes up less space than Norton. Used it for years and never regretted it.
