Enough of talking about why we should vote for whom.
Enough of worrying if your friends and families don't agree with you politically.
Enough of what someone else is going to do.
Enough of trying to convince each other we're right and they're wrong.
Enough of worrying about if the world is going to end if the "wrong" person gets to the White House.
Enough of all the talks about antichrist, terrorist, baby eater, socialist, Bush-clone, and Bible Spice.
Just go out and cast that vote. Early or on November 4.
Just vote.

I will, darling.
And then we will just have to be satisfied with whoever gets elected.

November 4th just isn't getting here fast enough.

Had to wait in line for about 30 minutes (at 2:30 in the afternoon!), but did it yesterday. Now I can discuss and debate politics for another four years.
If only there was some way to tell who has and hasn't voted. I really hate listen to people rag on politics and policies only to learn that they didn't vote because they didn't have the time or they're all crooks anyway or - and this one I really hate - it doesn't matter because (insert left/right wing whackjob excuse of your choice.)
I suppose it's their right not to vote, but I wish there was some sort of "didn't vote" SIMS bubble that would hang over their heads, don't you know?

Just as soon as I decide who I'm voting for, I'll vote I promise.
That may be at 4:55 pm on November 4th, but by golly I'll have to make a decision at some point, won't I?

Yep. We'll tick all the decideds around off royally. I'll bring the martinis--you bring some chips. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say I have to be sober when I vote.

I'll see what happens Tuesday. Last week in Georgia there were hours-long lines for early voting (when it's supposed to be FASTER?) due to "computer glitches." We'll see what happens.

Dunno about where you live, but in Georgia you better buy your alcohol before election day, because they don't sell it on election day.

First thing I'll do on the 4th. I just need Tuesday to get here.

I've got my babysitter lined up so that Jersey Guy and I both can vote. Tuesday can't get here soon enough.
