Due to a rather rash statement I made in This Thread (http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119830) (Look at the 13th post) and because of that comment I really don't expect this to work, but I'm looking for an artist for my story Princess Of The Damned: Hunt Of The Demoras I already have the first eleven pages of the script done, and the last individual who volunteered has not gotten back to me. The story for Hunt Of The Demoras is this: A clan of female demons who wield living demonic blades have been found and seized by Mammon, as he intends to utilize their "talents" to kill Luciami as she is taking a vacation. And all but one member of this clan set out to accomplish this mission. And this lone female seeks to save both Luciami and her clan from Mammon.

Oh, and for the record, I should let you know up front that due to the fact that I work a part time job,(Soon to be two jobs) I won't be able to pay the chosen artist up front... Which is also the second reason why I don't expect this to work.

I have a couple of artists that might be interested. I will let you know.

They haven't come by yet. They usually drop in once a week. Oct 30/08.

I know it's not the easy way, but I think the best way is by forming relationships with artists. Stop by their websites just to drop a note and say that you love their work. Ask them what kind of things they are working on right now.

I used to try to contact one artist per day.

You might find some going to the Arlington Convention and then you can meet up there.

Typically, people don't like to do favors that require hours and hours of work for someone they don't know.

Also, try to make what you are asking for very manageable. 5 pages and character sketches or something. A lot of artists can commit to that.

That's the advice I gave someone earlier on, and now I may have to utilize it in order to get a project off the Ground... My, My, how ironic... Thanks for the reminder though... :)

I plan on attending an art Institute after I go to a community college... But I suppose that in the mean time I'll check it out.
