I've had the fortunate experience to get some feedback on my old blogger blog so I thought I throw out my new blogging location for some more...

For background, I've been writing a fishing/outdoors column for a Philadelphia area paper for about 4 years now. The paper recently introduced a new blogging platform, and two staff members asked me if I'd like to help them with a Fishing Blog on the site...

The blog is in my signature, so let me know what you think...I have some thoughts, but would like to hear what others have to say.

The blog looks very nice indeed. It was rather slow loading. The posts seem fine although I did see one typo (Raisins).

Seems very guy friendly with loads of info along with sports. My dad is a bass fisherman and I enjoy it when I can go. I say this blog is looking good so far.

I think personally it feels like there's stuff all over the place. Most prominently the rather distracting right-hand sidebar. I mean, it might just be me (and me getting up far too early in the morning to be able to think clearly), and I suppose there's very little to do about it within the frame of the engine that powers the blog. I would probably try to make the sidebar a little more subdued though, to give more attention to the central elements (i.e., the blog, unless the sidebar is equally important). Perhaps not so many photos, many thumbnails in a list with a short description next to it instead.
