I'm actually aspiring to become a screenwriter, but I writing in meter will improve my dialogue. I've never studied poetry, so I would appreciate any information, book suggestions, or links on metric prose.

poetry and screenwriting are very complementary disciplines, and i think you're making the right move in exploring them in tandem.

rinse and repeat, then go off and think about what you've learned.
