Look at the wording in the proposed bailout legislation:

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.

If you do not want the $700 bilion to be a blank check with no oversight, contact your House & Senate representatives and tell them to put a few checks into the bailout package.

It's our money, folks. Should its use not even be subject to review?

Sounds like they are eliminating the checks and balances. Never a good thing.

The Bush Administration has never wanted oversight for their activities. Why change now? Here's hoping the Dems show a little spine this time, though I'm not holding my breath. Reid and Pelosi are pathetic.

Can it even be legal to pass a law that is, by law, immune to challenge in court?
