Hey guys, I wasn't sure where to put this thread, so if a Mod wants to move it, that's Okay.

Here's what I need -- a reader or two with an opinion. I'm not concerned aout the syntax, punctuation, spelling, etc. What I need to know from unbiased people is -- is this interesting, does it have commercail value, does it flow, is it as good as mom says it is (just kidding). If you are interested and want to know more before deciding, you can PM me.

I realize all of you are extremely busy and time is scarce, however a "bad result" opinion is better than no opinion at all.

Just looking for a hand up not a hand out.

thanks

What genre is it, and word count?

I ask b/c most people (myself included) only feel comfortable critiquing the genres they're most familiar with.

If you want to post an excerpt for lots of people to give you feedback, there's a 'share your work' forum that's great for that. On the page that lists all the different forums, it's about 1/3 ways down the page, under the heading Conference room, i believe.

Once you find it, I think there's a guidelines thread stickied to the top of that board, which you should read before sharing your work.

Also, send me a private message. I'd be willing to take a look at the first few chapters.

Check out the Writing Partners forum, also. If you're looking to swap crits with someone, you can hook up with like-minded folks there.

Create a submission package for your tatget market - usually a synopsis and 1st X chapters, and I'll gladly comment on that for you (zornhau@gmail.com). To be honest, you can usually tell whether something's interesting or not from the high concept and the first page.
