That's silly, Susie. I have had way more than 30,000 pints of Guinness in my life. :D

Congrats, Ray.

I remember when we were all wondering how long it would take you to reach 10,000. There was a whole thread about that one.

Do you ever get any real writing done, now, Ray, or are you spending all your time posting here? Just wondered how you manage your time!

Do you ever sleep?

I still think we should have done what I suggested ages ago-- when you took a short sabbatical from AW-- and re-set your post count to zero.

With that many posts, you must approve of ANY message!
I understand you start counting backwards now.
Not quite yet.

The count is likely stored as a 16-bit signed integer, a defacto standard in the C programming language. Even the programmer himself didn't believe anyone would post over 30000 posts, so post number 32767 will be followed by post numbers -32768, -32767, -32766, -32765...

But we'll see for sure soon enough, presuming Ray is neither banned nor hit by a bus in the very near future.

Or become President. In that case I would just quit AW and focus on running the country with chocolate fists.

Geez man. that's like. scribble scribble scribble, carry the 7...

700 a month? Holy crap. I don't have that many thoughts a month (that I'd be willing to let out of my head.)

Pffft. If OP posts counted and they each paid a penny, I'd be the richest man alive.

You and I together could probably buy something really expensive.

I mean, really. What's your secret. I need to take notes.

I suppose it's okay. You are published, and all. Now, if you had 30k posts and no book to show for it, then I might roll my eyes a bit. :D So, how is #2 coming?

*ducks*

Just kidding, Ray. You know I love ya.

And Susie, Trix are for kids. Chocolate covered Trix are for you, and you alone.

So, uh just how many posts can a poster have before he has to be a published author? I now know it's less fewer than 30000...

Speaking of chocolate, I thought I heard Ray's pants talking...

ETA: That statement was for the 30,000 posts, but I guess it could apply to the tinfoil hat too.

If Ray or Rob, either one, pull .001% of the popular vote--or ANY electoral college votes--I will personally come wash their dishes every night for a year.

There's only one explanation...Ray has cloned himself. I bet there's at least half a dozen RayClones chained up in his basement, all bashing away at keyboards day and night.
