I voted "Background"....it MUST be important if you have it listed twice, amirite?

(btw, will anyone have the balls to actually say "sex" or "race"? lol)

I chose mannerisms.

I hope that's sort of answer and explanation all wrapped up into one.

Sex. If a candidate isn't getting enough of it, they could become really pissy, and that could lead to bad judgment.

I voted "other" because I think it's really important for our elected leaders to have good teeth.

Height and weight. A candidate lacking even one of these would be virtually invisible in foreign policy negotiations.

I put in mannerisms. If they're constantly backpeddaling and changing their stance rather than picking a position and sticking with it, then it's really hard to judge what kind of a leader they'll be if they can't even figure out where they stand on their most basic ideals.

Yeah but fashion sense is moot as the president always wears the same suits. Now if one of them started wearing Hawaiian shirts to work every day, that would be rebellious.

Background and friends -- I don't think they're non-issues. Your history and who you're associated with tell quite a bit about the person you are.

I also picked "mannerism." I wouldn't have voted for George W. Bush simply on his mannerism alone. I think a President should act presidential, or at least hire a coach to teach him/her to act that way.

Age and background.

McCain may have a lot of experience, but I think his age makes him somewhat out of touch with much of America. Reagan was bad enough.

When I say background, I mean as in where they are form, where they grew up, etc.

Really, non of these things are "non-issues." But none of them are "issues" in the sense that abortion, gun control, and immigration are "issues." That was my intention in labeling them as non-issues.

I think I'm being misunderstood...again.

ahh, in that case, I'll go back and chose "other".

If they can't wear socks that match, then I don't want 'em!

Background? Stand against something that matches what you're wearing. That way, they won't know where you start and the couch ends.

It'll be hell if you have wicker furniture.
