Acronym Help

Ok folks, put on your creativity hats.

I need an acronym (and name, I guess) for a worldwide organization that exists to protect strong psychics from exploitation and harm. They offer small income checks to those whose powers prevent them from working (think like disability checks), help them find appropriate jobs, offer counselling, protect the identities of those who don't want to be publically known, that kind of thing.

Best I've got so far is the Foundation for the Protection of Psychic Talents but FPPT is a crappy acronym and I'm not happy with it.

Refuge Agency for Psychic Talent, or RAPT.

I like RAPT a lot. SAP isn't going to work, 'cause I'm setting it in Canada.

Unless I make it Security for North American Psychics, and then it could be SNAPpy.

if you were going for something comedic, maybe you could find one that worked out to PBJ - that could be milked for a lot of jokes about whether the j stood for jam or jelly, flavors of jam, whether the peanut butter was smooth or extra crunchy, whether anyone had milk to go with it, and people who mumble because their mouths are full

If your psychics are hiding or ashamed of their talent, I'd go with something mundane sounding.

Is it a government agency or a private foundation?

I'm voting for a private foundation type, because I want it to be a global organization, and I think having it be a government agency would make things real sticky. Foundation also sounds more benevolent.

I think FPPT is a great acronym, but only for people who want to discount and ridicule psychics. :tongue
