OMG! He wasn't even that old!

I loved his Myth Adventure stuff.

Sad day indeed.

I love Asprin's stuff. This is a sad day for everyone who loves spec fic.

Very sad news. I read the Myth Adventures years and years (like decades) ago and I can still remember scenes almost word for word. They were the first fantasy books I ever read.

RIP Asprin. I enjoyed the Myth series in Jr. High. Fantasy for the pure fun of it.

Damn. Hubby introduced me to his books many years ago. I'm sorry for his family.

OMG.

I was a member of the Ann Arbor SF group, along with Bob, that inspired the Myth series. I remember him at the local cons. I attended some of his early writing panels and workshops, back in the late 70's. I had friends who babysat his children.

OMG.

He certainly will be missed.

I just picked up a dog-eared copy of Thieves' World at a used book store. I'm moving it to the top of my TBR list.

Sounds like neat work, I'll have check it out. I hate learning about authors after they die. I only heard about Robert Jordan too after he died.

Oh no! He occupied a good portion of my reading list when I was a teen.

I never got into the Myth series, but I read a lot of Thieves' World when I was young.

It seems there's been a disproportionate number of SFF deaths lately.

I was so sad to hear about his death. I loved the Myth books (and the comics based on them drawn by Phil Foglio) and his contributions to Thieves' World were always excellent. His sense of humor was wonderful, and I'll miss him.

That is sad. The Myth series was one I always loved - when I could get my hands on them, which has always been rarely.
