I can't play the guitar worth a damn and I don't have one anyway. But I need some really good loops - I have some, but they're not all that useful because transposition doesn't really work well with guitars.

So I wonder if my fellow guitarists can help me out a bit. What I need are some basic or really cool guitar loops, up to 16 bars, of general strumming, picking, and arpeggios (which is almost impossible to do on a keyboard) in every major or minor chord.

My style is generally soft rock, alternative and Jazz, with some pop thrown in (although not much). I'd like some really cool riffs as well, but I already got some usable ones. Basically, I need something good enough to help me lay out a rhythm section and backing track.

If you're interested, please PM or email me.

Thanks a bunch.

Have you tried Guitar Hero?

Ask III/Jay. Seriously. Gifted, that one...I've listened to some of his work.

Actually, this might be a really cool idea - the AW Loop Repository! Let me see if the kids actually go to bed at a decent hour tonight and maybe I can throw some together. Sounds like fun.

Hey, Jay, that would be really cool. You should really build and market your own loops. I bet they'll be popular.
