"A long distance dedication from Takvah, in South Florida to Hillary Rodham Clinton... one tough broad. Here's Queen with...."

The Show Must Go On! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ADh8Fs3YdU)

Empty spaces - what are we living for
Abandoned places - I guess we know the score
On and on, does anybody know what we are looking for...
Another hero, another mindless crime
Behind the curtain, in the pantomime
Hold the line, does anybody want to take it anymore
The show must go on,
The show must go on
Inside my heart is breaking
My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on.
Whatever happens, I'll leave it all to chance
Another heartache, another failed romance
On and on, does anybody know what we are living for?
I guess I'm learning, I must be warmer now
I'll soon be turning, round the corner now
Outside the dawn is breaking
But inside in the dark I'm aching to be free
The show must go on
The show must go on
Inside my heart is breaking
My make-up may be flaking
But my smile still stays on
My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies
Fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die
I can fly - my friends
The show must go on
The show must go on
I'll face it with a grin
I'm never giving in
On - with the show -
I'll top the bill, I'll overkill
I have to find the will to carry on
On with the -
On with the show -
The show must go on...

anyone watch the last 2 miles of a marathon race? it's usually 2 guys far in front of the pack... one just steps behind the other. no one in their right mind would suggest this one should just give up. the winner will be the one who has the biggest kick/surge at the tape... in this case, the convention in denver.

anybody watch the superbowl this year? would you have told the giants to stay in the locker room at half time? methinks not.

we live in a competitive state. in business a monopoly generates lazy customer service and competition is what motivates superiority. both of these candidates know this. they have to be extra tough on each other to prove they will provide the best customer service. and isn't that what we all want from the government?!

Interesting analogy, but what if the race is to determine who will represent your country at the Olympics and the Olymics is tomorrow? But yeah, ultimately it is the choice of the runner.

actually, that IS how they choose our olympic team. they make their final race(s) about a month before the olympics. they don't choose the one who has won several times in the past. they choose the one who won last.

an infighting popularity contest,
why doesn't it surprise me?
